Job description

An emerging company that helps users redeem their airline and credit card rewards for better flights for fewer points is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with evaluating, designing, and building scalable and highly performant infrastructure. The company's proprietary algorithm and real-time search engine maximizes the value of airline points and redeems exciting offers. This is a great opportunity for developers to build modern, scalable solutions for a fast-scaling company. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a key driver of creating new features for users
  • Apply effective JavaScript programming skills for front-end applications
  • Design and architect new systems, with a particular focus on crafting a beautiful and performant user experience
  • Influence product strategy and the roadmap by working closely with the existing team members
  • Lead and mentor front-end developers, participate in code reviews and act as a point of contact for architecture and cross-team initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Extensive experience working with React and JavaScript
  • Experience working with complex user interfaces and API design
  • Strong judgment and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in written and conversational English
