Job description

A leading educational technology company operating a skills marketplace is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will join the team as an entrepreneurial individual thriving in a startup environment. Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement beautiful responsive layouts 
  • Develop testable, accessible, and maintainable React components with an eye for modularity by 
  • Adapt to SOLID principles in assembling maintainable and high-quality code
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure features/changes meet business requirements and fulfill the set strategy
  • Work closely with designers and other engineers to understand new features, dependencies, and technical details
  • Learn deeply, grow professionally, and contribute to an amazing team
  • Play a key role in driving a massive change in learning, talent building, and upskilling

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant front-end engineering experience 
  • Proficiency in Typescript, CSS, and HTML
  • Ability to leverage tools like Storybook.js
  • Prior React experience is preferred but not required
  • Comfortable with creating highly scalable systems and frameworks
  • Great communication and collaboration skills
  • Be enthusiastic about learning new things and taking on new challenges
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Prior experience working remotely
