Job description

A US-based company that provides an AI-powered translation assistant for effective communication is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing the front-end payments module using Stripe. The company has built a cross-language communication platform that caters to the language needs of freelancers and remote teams worldwide. This role requires a time overlap with the Eastern/Pacific time zones and will be a great opportunity for the selected candidate to work full-time and develop scalable products.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop the front-end of the login and signup modules
Build the front-end of the onboarding module
Manage the Mixpanel tracking of user data
Take charge of editing the front-end interface per user feedback
Work on the Chrome extension that interfaces with multiple websites, including Gmail and WhatsApp
Collaborate actively with the ML and Product teams
Design and build efficient, intuitive front-end applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant front-end engineering experience
Expertise in React.js, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and CI/CD
Have a knack for UI/UX design
Good Spanish speaking skills is a plus
Experience building Chrome extension and ML products is nice to have
