Front-End Engineer

A US-based company that offers turnkey solutions to help businesses create amazing online event experiences for current and prospective customers, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the feature development and interacting/collaborating with support engineers. The company is fast becoming the industry standard at developing immersive virtual and hybrid event experiences that are more engaging, interactive, and personalized than traditional in-person events. The engineer will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with peers such as designers, engineers, and product managers to attain set goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Integrate with existing systems, ensure code quality and appropriate design patterns
• Collaborate with other stakeholders in the front-end teams to define and manage expectations
• Work with the engineering and DevOps functions to ensure feature reliability, availability, and scalability
• Prepare required documents for the implementation process for future reference

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• 4+ years working experience with Vue.js and Vuex
• Ability to write high-quality JavaScript code quickly, with a bias towards shipping
• Experience in developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI solutions
• Conversant with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability
• Knowledge of product and design life cycles
• Nice to have some prior experience in integrating Form.io modules/packages
• Experience in e2e automation testing (Cypress) is desirable
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
