Job description

A US-based e-commerce company that is revolutionizing the shopping experience for users by providing them with a smart, customizable experience is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The developer will be joining the company as a key member of the engineering team and should possess exceptional technical and learning abilities. The company uses sophisticated AI technology to understand and monitor users behavior and taste, thereby giving them a tailor-made shopping experience at the best price online. The company managed to secure funding worth $25 mn+ during their Series A round. This will be a long-term, full-time position for the selected candidate.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write robust, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture
  • Work alongside other developers and UI/UX designers
  • Continuously increase the capabilities, features, and effectiveness of the platform
  • Plan, design, and build a highly intuitive and efficient software solution
  • Lead the team and make critical front-end focused decisions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer (React and JavaScript)
  • Nice to have some experience working with Angular
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
