Job description

A fast-growing US-based company that is revolutionizing the market with cutting-edge procurement and AP software is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The developer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing user interface components. The company’s game-changing technology uses purchasing and AP automation to help organizations expand rapidly and more efficiently. During the Series A round, the company managed to secure funding worth more than $25 mn. This is a nice opportunity for developers passionate about learning and utilizing technology to create phenomenal products.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute, suggest, and ideate on optimizing the user experience, user interaction, and what looks good on screen
  • Work actively with minimal supervision in a fast-moving start-up environment 
  • Take initiative and ownership of the products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Perform code reviews
  • Make technology design decisions and explain technical concepts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6), CSS3, HTML5
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Backbone.js
  • Experience writing JavaScript unit tests (e.g. Jasmine, Mocha)
  • Experience with solving complex solutions
  • Experience writing highly reusable and easily maintainable code 
  • Solid knowledge of version control (preferably Git)
  • Working knowledge of responsive design principles
  • Proficiency with CSS preprocessors and frameworks (e.g., Less and Bootstrap)
  • Experience with Node.js and Express.js
  • Experience working with RESTful services
  • Experience with NoSQL data stores, e.g., MongoDB
  • Experience developing for cloud services 
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, both verbal and written
