Front End Engineer

A home fitness platform powered by 3D sensors and artificial intelligence is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The developer will be responsible for building features for the growth and e-commerce services and providing mentorship to a small team. The company is focused on creating a healthier world through personalized fitness training accessible to everyone. They have grown rapidly with over 300% in sales. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop features for growth and the e-commerce services
• Provide mentorship and guidance to a small team
• Contribute to bringing new features to life
• Design and build efficient intuitive front-end applications
• Work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems from end-to-end

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of experience in professional software development 
• 2+ years of experience with React
• Experience using Typescript or other typed languages in production
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficient with front-end development tooling (Yarn and NPM)
• Knowledge of Git, Agile best practices, and CI experience such as Travis, Circle, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience shipping clean, maintainable code 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with E-commerce (preferably Shopify) is nice to have
• Experience with Linux and a passion for fitness is preferred
