Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating a usage-based pricing and cloud metering technology that provides real-time billing, invoicing, and usage metering, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be assisting with the creation of new functionalities and UI enhancements for the platform. The company's goal is to help customers achieve a better rate of development and consumer traction while assisting businesses with the global shift to usage-based pricing, a more equitable and transparent business model. The company has managed to secure more than $22mn during their Series A round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

As the platform develops, enhance its usability and usefulness across the board, including integrated products, embeddable UI elements, third-party connectors, and more
Work together to solve engineering and product issues with other engineers, designers, and product managers
To guarantee excellent code standards and adherence to best practices, address ideas in the code reviews and examine other people's PRs
Create new features, enhance current ones, and fix important bugs to increase the platform's scalability and performance
Rotate duties with other front-end team members to be on call to troubleshoot using tools for monitoring and analysis

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
Extensive experience building front-end web applications using JavaScript and React.js
Practical experience creating dashboards and online applications for real-time analytics and monitoring
Substantial development experience with one of the main cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Ability to work with modern UI libraries like Material UI
Prior exposure to state management technologies such as Redux and React-Query
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Spinnaker, and GitHub
Bias in favor of accelerating and completing tasks quickly
Assume responsibility and have an effect right away
Effectively collaborate within a team, provide and accept constructive criticism, and don't hesitate to advocate for your beliefs.
Ability to hit the ground running immediately
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
