Job description

A U.S.-based company that is providing businesses with an integrated platform for large-scale file data across multiple cloud environments, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for delivering user-facing products by collaborating with product owners, software developers, and user-experience designers. With the help of the company's technology, businesses can easily store and manage exabytes of data in the core, at the edge, and on the cloud. The company has managed to secure $345mn+ during their Series E round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, testing, and launch of the new cloud monitoring solution for the client
  • Take charge of developing the design and UX for the platform
  • For the client customers, provide a SaaS solution that would enable users of different client Core storage systems to see, administer, and control their systems from a single interface while also allowing them to regulate the transfer of data across these systems
  • Help to build a front-end application with a cloud-hosted back-end as part of this project
  • Together with the engineering manager, implement the front-end and feature components in a way that is clear, readable, tested, and maintainable
  • Help with creating scalable and efficient cloud services
  • Put into practice architectural selections and designs that involve numerous development teams
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement cutting-edge business and consumer products
  • Analyze the needs, assess the risks, and design the solutions. help with SaaS service architecture, implementation, and launch while adhering to best engineering and operational practices
  • Utilize full-stack expertise across the whole stack to define, design, and support the E2E implementation and support of the client's services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • 2+ years of experience working with React, CSS, and HTML/CSS
  • At least 1+ years of experience developing cloud services
  • Demonstrable experience with programming and web development frameworks
  • Prolific experience with application scalability, availability, reliability, security, and efficient execution
  • In-depth knowledge of SCRUM, Kanban, and other agile approaches for teamwork
  • Prior experience dealing with teams that are dispersed geographically
  • Demonstrable experience completing quality work under pressure
  • Strong technical foundations and a familiarity with the Software Development lifecycle
  • Extensive experience working with Python and Node.js
  • Ability to debug software/deployment difficulties, think analytically, and document processes
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
