Job description

A U.S.-based marketplace for automobile enthusiasts to buy and sell aftermarket car parts is looking to hire a Front-End Engineer. The selected engineer would be responsible for creating an interactive website experience for the end user and proffering the company's vision to drive growth. The company is building a platform where gearheads can find exclusive and elusive automobile accessories and parts to help assemble and build their dream car. The company has managed to successfully raise over $150K in its seed funding round.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze user data to build solutions that enhance user experience
  • Collaborate with other engineers to make the front-end features cohesively blend with back-end logic
  • Establish a clear line of communication with other departments/engineers and set company goals
  • Brainstorm new features and improve existing ones to drive impact

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Front-End Engineer
  • Possess at least 2-4+ years of experience working with CSS and Tailwind CSS
  • Previous experience (1-2+ years) with React
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails would be a bonus
  • Should be impact-driven with a growth mindset
  • Excellent English communication skills
