Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the modernization of the front-end architecture using Vue.js, ensuring responsive and intuitive user interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end components with server-side logic implemented in PHP Laravel
• Provide expert evaluations of the existing codebase, suggesting and implementing best practices and efficient paths for development

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record as a full-stack developer, with a strong emphasis on front-end technologies
• Advanced proficiency in Vue.js, PHP, and Laravel frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to provide insights and feedback on codebase improvements
• Proficient in implementing user-facing features that are secure, efficient, and scalable
• Strong leadership skills with experience advising on technological best practices
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

The engineer should be well-versed in the fundamentals of back-end development and have a track record of developing scalable, high-quality applications. They will collaborate closely with our engineering
team to create outstanding products that satisfy our users' expectations as they
design, implement, and manage our Kotlin-based backend services.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Write well-organized, updatable, and documented code
• Work with PostgreSQL databases on design, development & optimization
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features 
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of the codebase 
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Kotlin and Spring Boot technologies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• At least 4+ years of experience developing, testing, and debugging Kotlin applications
• Proficiency in Kotlin with a strong understanding of core concepts
• Familiarity with Kotlin asynchronous programming, concurrency, and other advanced features
• Solid understanding of Spring Boot and its ecosystem
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL or any other RDBMS databases
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Prior experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
• Demonstrable experience working with Java 17, JUnit, Spring Web, and Spring Core
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Offer Details:

• Long-term contractor postion (no medical / paid leave)
• Remote only, Full-time dedication (40 hours/week)

Interview Process:

• First round: Internal interview for technical evaluation with live coding challenge
