Job description

A US-based company that has developed an app to keep track of children's mental health along with their parents is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for mentoring developers on the team and creating an intuitive user interface. The company offers customized, virtual care to promote healthy emotional development and cure evolving emotional and behavioral challenges. The company has raised close to $26.5 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive stages of the product development lifecycle, such as UI/UX design, writing and reviewing code, overseeing the deployment, and understanding user-centric feedback
  • Work directly with product managers and the business to synthesize needs and requirements and contribute to the project roadmap
  • Mentor and train other engineers and team members on high-quality coding and design standards
  • Define the long-term technical direction and vision for developing a high-quality, scalable platform
  • Create user interfaces that are performant, intuitive, and visually appealing for patients, caregivers, and health care professionals

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript
  • Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as React
  • Knowledge of Redux and Angular is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Python and Vuex is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
