Job description

A US-based company that has created a revolutionary cloud platform for life science R&D that integrates and scales scientific workflows for researchers is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for converting the company and customer requirements into integral and captivating interactive applications. The company allows R&D teams to create novel insights while reducing the time and money necessary to meet key milestones. The company has so far raised $15 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of site/app designs and convert them into the real, usable interfaces
  • Utilizing multiple markup languages to write web pages
  • Perform regular site maintenance and optimization of web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and the best user experience
  • Maintain technical documentation, including tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
  • Bridge the gap between visual designs and their technical implementation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Knowledge of JavaScript ES6 and React
  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
  • Familiarity with Object Oriented Design and JavaScript frameworks is nice to have
  • Knowledge of Redux, Meteor.js, and Angular is a plus
  • Experience with GraphQL, Bootstrap, and CSS is preferred
  • iOS Development and Android experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Unit testing and webpack is preferred
  • Strong English Communication Skills
