Job description

A rapidly-growing company helping to shape the future by building an innovative decentralized social platform is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing advanced technologies and protocols that will help redesign the platform. Users can set up governance rules, designate roles, and reward users with airdrops and gate depending on NFT ownership in the company's Web3 communities. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy building revolutionary products that will have an industry-wide impact. This position requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take great care and ensure that everything is pixel-perfect
  • Establish a standard for developing front-end applications
  • Prepare the platform’s front-end application to be open sourced
  • Implement and elevate the UX from the designer 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
  • Prolific experience working with the Vue.js framework and its core principles like components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
  • Extensive knowledge of the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
  • Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including Sass or Less
  • Demonstrable experience with Tailwind CSS
  • Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
  • Prior experience writing efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
  • Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing and testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
  • Demonstrable experience with modern development tools like Babel, Webpack, and Git
  • Experience in both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
  • Nice to have some Open source experience and an enthusiasm for crypto, decentralized tech, and Web3
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
