Job description

A rapidly growing company determined to disrupt the education industry by providing a real-time collaborative learning platform is looking for a Front-End Developer. The candidate will be responsible for handling, regulating, and improving the front-end process to ensure that the real-time interaction-heavy functionalities are quick and responsive across a wide range of devices. The company allows a smooth collaborative creation, automation, sharing, and remixing of instructional content with a focus on technical subjects. This role requires an overlap with the PST time zone.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and maintain features of the web application's Angular-based front-end
  • Manage the collaborative learning content editor and real-time browser-based IDE
  • Convert wireframes and design documents into fully-functional web front-end features
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize the front-end performance to ensure that our real-time interaction-heavy functionalities are fast and performant across a wide range of user devices
  • Grow your knowledge and the technology stack to serve the user base better

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Must have experience in Angular, Typescript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience with front-end web frameworks is required
  • Experience with Angular 2+ is preferred
  • Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and network security, is nice to have
  • Experience working with development teams in a lean, agile environment is preferred
