Job description

A US-based company developing a comprehensive platform and workspace that enables users to document, think, and learn freely, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for continually improving the existing product and building new features. The company uses a combination of flashcards, PDF annotation, and memos to drastically minimize the amount of time it takes to learn and organize information. The company has successfully raised $2.8mn+ during its Seed round of funding. This role requires 2+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the UI of the website to make it more accessible and functional 
  • Build software to support the growing enterprise user base
  • Develop web-based applications, UI/UX elements and assist the product team in planning for system enhancement
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and iterate accordingly 
  • Manage end-to-end problems and work with a wide range of systems and technologies
  • Work closely with the back-end to troubleshoot issues and fix bugs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Extensive experience in Typescript, React, and CSS
  • Nice to have experience in Jest, Cypress, Styletron, and Tailwind
  • Prolific communication and collaboration skills 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
