Job description

A US-based company building an effective real estate market intelligence platform is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with augmenting the existing engineering team to increase the velocity of product development. The real estate data and analytics company is providing timely, complete, and accurate real estate data and analytics to customers. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work with a fast-paced company that is building scalable solutions.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adapt to the company's existing engineering processes as appropriate 
  • Collaborate with talented professionals on UX design choices 
  • Write clear and easy to understand code with documentation 
  • Prioritize testing and quality assurance
  • Translate product concepts into working code with abbreviated specifications
  • Optimize application for performance and scale 
  • Communicate effort, progress, and results

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Solid understanding of web application development 
  • Demonstrable experience working with JavaScript (ES6), CSS3, and HTML 
  • Experience with the React framework and an in-depth understanding of the React lifecycle
  • Extensive experience creating and consuming APIs 
  • Familiarity with modern UI/UX concepts 
  • Demonstrable success in similar past projects
