Job description

A US-based company on a mission to teach students across the globe to communicate more clearly, process, and interpret information, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building superior quality, responsive applications with compelling user interactions. The organization is helping children to develop media literacy, critical thinking, strong writing skills and reduce their risk of depression and self-harm from social media by making writing easy and lovable. This is a great opportunity for developers who enjoy developing unique innovative solutions.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Successfully deploy code to production with a high level of automation, code coverage, and monitoring
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide them through standard software development practices
  • Ensure top quality code; practice code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests in a continuous integration environment
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application
  • Display leadership qualities with an ability to take ownership of technical projects and processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Must have expertise in React and Typescript
  • Ability to solve complex challenges and arrive at solutions
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
