Job description

A rapidly-growing company on a mission to build an innovative platform for digital transformation is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be performing code reviews and mentoring mid-level developers. The US-based company is determined to revolutionize the communication and IT industry with state-of-the-art products and solutions. This role requires a significant overlap with the PST/TWT time zones. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Using well-structured web design creates intuitive user interfaces
  • Write well-tested, high-quality code that adheres to best practices
  • Successfully deploy code to production with a high level of automation, code coverage, and monitoring
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide them through standard software development practices
  • Display leadership qualities with an ability to take ownership of technical projects and processes  

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Experience in designing and implementing performant single-page front-end architectures 
  • Experience with application development with modern front-end frameworks like React.js, Angular 2+, or Vue.js
  • Experience writing unit tests with React Testing Library, Jest/Enzyme, Mocha, or equivalent is a must
  • Familiarity with standard JavaScript async patterns is required
  • Experience with modern version control systems such as Git or mercurial is a must
  • Extensive knowledge of web standards and modern browsers, responsive design, and the full web technology stack is expected
  • Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application is a must
  • Excellent communication skills
