Job description

A VC-backed startup that is committed to helping businesses make their forklift operations more safer and efficient, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, building, and integrating the upgrades that are required to build a world-class application. The US-based company is on a mission to assist warehouses and factories in improving the safety and effectiveness of their industrial vehicle fleets. They have managed to raise $6.5mn+ during their Series A round of funding. This will be a long-term role that requires an innovative and clairvoyant approach to the company's business requirements. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Discuss user interface concepts and applications with the development team
  • Examine the requirements for the application and the interface designs
  • Detect user activities on the internet
  • Writing unit test cases and putting a test-driven development strategy in place
  • Using React ideas, develop and create extremely responsive user interface components
  • Writing JavaScript application interface code that follows react.js workflows
  • Debugging application codes and troubleshooting interface software
  • Creating and deploying a front-end architecture to support user-interface principles
  • Monitor and improve the front-end performance
  • Changes to the application are being documented, and updates are being developed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of experience working as a front-end developer
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages
  • Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Redux, Hooks, and Context-API is required
  • Experience with user interface design is required
  • Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest is a plus
  • Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
  • Great troubleshooting skills
