Front-End Developer

A US-based company that is building a franchise beauty and salon business that spans across the country is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be working with product managers and analytics teams to improve product performance metrics. The NYSE-listed company has big digital transformation goals and is determined to facilitate the growth of the beauty school business. They have managed to raise more than $100mn in funding so far. This role requires 5-6 hours overlap with the PST time zone and could lead to long-term opportunities. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Help to design and build out intuitive front-ends for applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional members like product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver quality products
• Communicate with clients’ technical leadership to fully understand technical requirements and execute them
• Utilize a wide range of systems and technologies to fix end-to-end problems

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience working as a front-end developer
• Should possess expertise in working with technologies like React
• Must be able to work with languages like JavaScript to build modern UIs
• Deep understanding of essential front-end languages like HTML and CSS is required
• Knowledge of working with complex code bases, systems, and source code control systems like Git
• Should be able to build and support mission-critical user-facing systems
