Job description

A fast-growing company that has built a catalog of the world's largest selection of popular guitars, basses, amplifiers, keyboards, workstations, etc., is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of developing high-quality, reliable user-facing features and functionality using modern technologies. The company successfully operates a chain of guitar and amplifier stores across the country. They have managed to secure more than $30mn in funding so far. This role requires a significant overlap with the PST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to create web pages and experiences with minimal direction
  • Be a strong individual contributor
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of web designers, back-end developers, project managers, and system analysts to complete projects
  • Take on new projects and guide the team in enhancing existing experiences
  • Bridge the gap between visual designs and their technical implementation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • At least 4+ years of experience handling e-commerce or consumer-facing interactive applications (web/mobile app)
  • Extensive experience with web markup languages, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with React/React Native
  • Prior Mobile app building experience is nice to have
  • Experience with UI components builder like Figma/storybook and xd
  • Experience in troubleshooting web applications and coding issues
