Job description

A fast-growing company that is helping healthcare professionals from across the US to maintain a better work-life balance is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer will be developing best-in-class mobile and web apps while monitoring and supporting them in production. The fast-growing startup aims to transform healthcare staffing by pioneering the way for both facilities and healthcare professionals in terms of reliability, price, and convenience of use. They have secured $100K+ in funding during their Seed round. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a globally distributed team for a relevant cause. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable and high-performance front-end code while also learning complex technical concepts
  • Create reusable and efficient components for sophisticated web and mobile apps
  • Create robust, dependable, and user-friendly software features
  • Run the entire software development lifecycle, including problem creation, design, development, testing, and demoing, as well as providing support for the features in production
  • Balance short-term corporate goals with a long-term architectural vision

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Familiar with modern open source technologies like Next.js, Express.js, React, Redux, Tailwind UI, Flutter, and testing with Jest and Cypress
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on performance and resiliency of the application
  • Prior experience working with product and design life cycles and collaborating closely with design and engineering teams
  • Proactive team player, highly professional, and collaborative
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
