Job description

A rapidly-growing company that has built an efficient tax optimization engine to help investors make better tax-optimized decisions is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will own and build the front-end application and must have a strong understanding of the entrepreneurial gap. The company is backed by some of the industry’s most reputed founder-angels. Their latest product will integrate with crypto exchanges and APIs like Coinbase, Opensea, and Etherscan, ingest customer transaction data, and extract key information to send to accountants and customers. This role requires some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to rebuild the company’s multi-sided B2C product into a B2B2C 
  • Work independently and autonomously to make product decisions 
  • Build data classification layer for crypto transactions
  • Participate in regular brainstorming sessions, contribute to strategy, and product execution

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Strong background in crypto, particularly NFTs and DeFi
  • Extensive experience working with React, Node.js, and GraphQL
  • Ability to read Etherscan and understand how DeFi transactions look/are classified
  • Comfortable working in a remote, async environment
  • Prior experience using Notion, Gitlab, and Slack for documentation, project management, and communications
