Job description

A fast-growing tech company that allows content creators and social media stars to quickly monetize their content and build a strong fan base, is looking for a Front-end Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with helping the existing team to expand the company’s key product and build more monetizing features. The company enables content creators to connect with their audiences and receive support while earning an income by doing what they love. This will be a full-time role that requires a significant amount of overlap with the EST/PST time zones. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain new, improved layouts with A/B testing to ensure users get the best possible experience
  • Take ownership of the product/feature you are building
  • Take charge of end-to-end product quality, from developing to maintaining the core app that helps make the user experience more reliable and delightful
  • Precisely implement designs across desktop and mobile versions
  • Communicate clearly across existing remote design and back-end engineering teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with TypeScript
  • Fluent in React using functional components
  • Skilled at implementing Redux and state management
  • Work with 3rd party integrations comfortably
  • Strong grasp of Git and related technologies
  • Ability to multitask and strong attention to detail
  • Nice to have some familiarity with Netlify or Heroku
  • Experience in Next.js and server-side rendering is desirable
  • Prior experience working with WebSockets and real-time APIs is nice to have
  • Prior design experience is preferred
  • Nice to have some experience working with video upload/streaming
