Job description

A leading live learning platform that connects students and professionals with on-demand tailored training for any subject is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and improving the style, maintainability, and best practices to establish a high-scale web environment. The platform provides users with hand-picked, highly qualified specialists from various fields to assist students in broadening their educational horizons. The company has raised funding worth $100 mn+ during their Series C round. This role requires 6+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain front-end reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Influence the technology to help the team concept and deliver innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-disciplinary teams to prioritize, scope, specify, build, test, and deliver high-quality products and features
  • Design and build applications that are efficient, reusable, and reliable 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end Developer
  • 3+ years of experience working with React and related technologies
  • Nice to have some experience with Ruby on Rails and Golang
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
