Job description

A fast-growing company that harnesses the power of digital media to help corporations turn their followers into brand builders, is looking for a Front-end Developer. The selected candidate will be delivering flexible user interfaces in Angular that are suitable for both desktop and mobile web clients. The company is the industry leader in digital monetization, enabling businesses to collect, manage, and distribute digital assets to partners and advocates to boost social media exposure, loyalty, and revenue growth. The company has managed to raise funding worth $22mn so far. This will be a full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take advantage of the existing continuous deployment system to ship code early and often
  • Bring compelling user experiences to life in collaboration with product managers and designers
  • Collaborate with fellow platform developers to ensure optimized communication with service APIs
  • Adopt and implement quality standards and best practices in the delivery of performant web applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on web-based interfaces in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Prolific knowledge and experience with TypeScript and Angular
  • Extensive experience with RxJS or other Reactive programming techniques/libraries
  • Demonstrable experience working with front-end tooling workflows like NPM, SASS/SCSS, WebPack, and Angular-CLI
  • Experience with data integration
  • Fluency in Git and GitHub
  • Nice to have prior experience with unidirectional data flow patterns (Redux, etc.), NgRx
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
