Front-End Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Build an innovative electric vehicle ownership experience, including the front-end work for a mobile responsive, customer web-based portal
• Take up ownership of the front-end build (React/Redux), feature development, and maintenance
• Debug user-facing issues and work with product/member support teams to ensure a best-in-class user experience
• Scale the platform to be at the cutting edge of the modern web

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a front-end developer
• Strong experience in FinTech, payments technology, and/or consumer finance
• Expertise in building web applications and keeping up with the latest technological developments in the space 
• Ability to take end-to-end work ownership and comfortable making code improvements across the stack 
• Capable of collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders and ensuring customer/business needs are met
• Have a keen sense for subtle details and help in building beautiful, easy-to-use products 
• Ability to put users first and empathize with how they'll use the products
• Keen interest in the intersection of FinTech and Climate Tech
• Must have some experience in React, Redux, and GitHub
• Proficiency in Python, Plaid, and AWS is nice to have
