Job description

A B2B SaaS startup tackling products' notification complexities is looking to hire a Front-End Developer. The developer will work actively with the founding team to build the new standard for notifications. The company is committed to empowering product teams to build meaningful user-focused notification experiences. They are trusted by leading enterprises and have raised over $4 mn in seed funding. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership, build great products, and grow at a fast pace. The role requires at least 3 hours overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Shape the company’s culture and contribute to the hiring process, to attract, and onboard other smart engineers
Be a core product evangelist to promote developer adoption
Work proactively to fix customer issues and keep track of new security vulnerabilities that negatively impact products
Gain hands-on learning of what building an early-stage startup is like
Build and make suggestions about the UX while developing features or making improvements
Integrate state management across multiple devices with real-time synchronization
Develop robust systems to help customers understand their notifications flow
Guarantee engineering reliability and performance to scale up with customers
Work with some of the brightest engineers and customers to build notifications rapidly

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
4+ years of development experience with React
Experience with Embeddable Inbox and end-to-end testing
2+ years of Typescript experience and test-driven development
Advance knowledge of React hooks and Javascript SDKs
Experience in Reactive & functional programming.
Willingness to go above and beyond expectations
Enjoy taking on challenging responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent writing ability as demonstrated by previously written documentation, README, or blog posts
Sound communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in a remote setting
Experience with GraphQL, semantic versioning, and maintaining an SDK
Track record of working with community PRs and building real-time applications that sync across devices
Expertise in React Native and snapshot testing with Storybook
Exceptional working culture with respect for people's time
A desire to start your own startup either now or in the future
