Job description

A fast-growing company, developing and providing mission-critical technology and business solutions to top American enterprises, is looking to hire a Front-End Developer. The developer will contribute and be involved in every step of the project, turning client’s ideas into success while working under the team lead’s supervision. The company is building a Business Intelligence platform for the hospitality industry and leverages Google Cloud Functions and Firestore for data storage and ingestion. The selected candidate will work in a full-time role with potential long-term abilities. This position requires an overlap with the Eastern Time Zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support the business intelligence web application for clients
  • Working independently, receiving assistance and supervision from the Project Lead
  • Hold client-focused meetings, receive bug reports, and implement bug fixes in existing code
  • Troubleshoot applications, develop new and enhance existing features
  • Utilize project management tools efficiently, participate in sprint meetings and code reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • 2+ years of experience with Angular, Typescript, and RxJS
  • Deep understanding of fundamental web concepts (client / server relationships, RESTful APIs, JS, HTML / CSS, etc)
  • Sound expertise in data processing, analysis, and visualization 
  • Knowledge of Lean/Agile development methodologies
  • Proficient with cloud services platforms
  • Well-versed with the complete web development process, from concept to development, deployment, and assessment
  • Solid skills with developer collaboration workflows like Git
  • Nice to have some experience with Firebase, Firestore, and Cloud Functions
  • Prior experience with KendoUI, unit-testing, preferably with Karma and Jasmine, is desirable
  • Keen interest to learn new tools and technologies
