Job description

A fast-growing VC-funded startup in the entertainment space is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer must have a product mindset and will develop, implement, and execute interactive user interface components and innovative features. The company has managed to raise more than $1 mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring 8+ hours overlap with the EST time zone. This is an exciting opportunity for developers interested in growing as a leader in a startup environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build the foundational front-end web app and tech
  • Interact with customers, understand the customer and product needs
  • Create and develop a modern and highly responsive web-based user interface
  • Mentor other engineers and guide them through standard industry practices
  • Take initiative to continuously improve the quality of the product and its services 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with React
  • Nice to have a strong knowledge of Typescript
  • Track record of building responsive front-end applications across a variety of browsers and devices using modern techniques
  • Ability to understand business requirements and customer needs 
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability 
  • Fluent in English
