Front-end Developer

A US-based, VC-funded startup specializing in community intelligence marketing for e-commerce brands is looking for a Front-end Developer. The developer will work primarily on designing and developing innovative solutions and features to support the projects and web applications. The platform is trusted by industry-leading e-commerce and consumer brands. It has raised over $20 mn during its Series A funding round, along with multiple recognitions for its innovative product. The role requires a minimum of 4 hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on building scalable features to solve customer problems and drive user engagement 
• Collaborate across teams with product managers, designers, and other team members to understand and improve the user experience 
• Develop high quality, reliable user-facing features and functionality using modern technologies
• Set standards and boost engineering best practices for development and operational excellence
• Influence the technical and product strategy, as well as the software architecture

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
• Must be experienced in React and Typescript
• Deep expertise with scalable architecture and various software design patterns
• Nice to have some experience with GraphQL and PostgreSQL
• Expertise with building well designed, large-scale web applications
• Possess a solid motivation to solve customer problems and drive user satisfaction
