Job description

An international company that is a world leader in market data commercialization and a trusted partner to the world’s largest financial data providers, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer will be collaborating with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with REST/RESTful APIs. The company helps data providers maximize the commercial value of their data assets and services with minimal resources. The company's focus is on efficient ways to reach global customers at scale and managing commercial relationships including the operational and administrative processes.


Job Responsabilities:


  • Ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability through regular code reviews and refactoring
  • Work closely with the team to resolve code conflicts and ensure smooth collaboration on projects
  • Utilize Yarn and Webpack for efficient dependency management and bundling of frontend assets
  • Configure build processes to automate tasks such as code minification, image optimization, and cache busting
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and priorities


    Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, provided the candidate demonstrates equivalent practical experience and skills
  • 4+ years developing robust and scalable front-end solutions using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Webpack, and Vue.js
  • Understanding of front-end optimization techniques to enhance performance and user experience
  • At least 4 years of experience optimizing front-end code for factors such as load times, rendering speed, and browser compatibility
  • Utilize GitHub for version control, branching, and merging code changes
  • Familiarity with REST/RESTful APIs and related technologies
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous front-end development projects and contributions to demonstrate proficiency in front-end technologies and frameworks, and browser compatibility
  • Nice to have some understanding of Yarn
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
