Job description

A fast-growing company that is developing cutting-edge technology that enables customers to now realize their ultimate purchasing fantasies, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with improving the existing Shopify website. Customers can now purchase their preferred goods from the company and opt to pay for them in convenient installments. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the GMT -4 time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Work together with the product and design teams, as well as the founders, to build new features for the product from start to finish, including research, development, implementation, and maintenance
Provide excellent software solutions and work directly with the founders and other internal and external stakeholders to build tools, services, and products from the bottom up
Make use of your expertise in front-end development to enhance functionality and reliability while refining current features
Contribute your technical knowledge to help the team in identifying performance bottlenecks for prompt troubleshooting and make deliberate, scalable design decisions

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
Demonstrable experience working with React, Vue.js, and GraphQL
Some understanding of Express, Shopify, and Liquid is desirable
Nice to have some experience with Docker, TypeScript, Algolia, and REST/RESTful APIs
Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
