Front-End Developer

A NASDAQ-listed company that is on a mission to build a game-changing online cryptocurrency platform that will revolutionize the finance industry, is looking for a Front-End Developer. The developer will be in charge of creating reusable code and libraries for future use. The company is enabling customers to easily buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies in a secure and seamless manner. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. The company has managed to secure $495mn+ in funding so far. This will be a short-term project that can lead to long-term opportunities based on the candidate’s performance. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the newest offering from the company, which provides single sign-on, easy app switching, and user switching across all institutional and consumer goods
• Make sure that the finished product functions as a single location where clients can modify all of their account settings, including profile, security, privacy, payment, etc.
• Work on significant changes to create an organization-wide portal
• Create a mobile app that allows users to switch between the product's existing capabilities

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end or software developer
• 4+ years of experience working with React 
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and related technologies
• Familiarity with Single Sign On (SSO) projects is desirable
• Prior experience working in industries like fintech, security, payments, etc. is preferred
• Nice to have some knowledge of Ruby or Ruby on Rails
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
