Job description

A US-based company manufacturing quality single-origin dark chocolate using premium cocoa beans and organic sugar is looking for a Data and Analytics Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with talented cross-functional team members across the company to deliver on requirements. The company is focused on cultivating long-term relationships with producers and farmers that enable them to craft small batches of chocolate that highlight different cocoa beans' distinctive flavor. The company has managed to raise $4mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust and maintainable stacks of Airbyte, Stitch Data (ETL), dbt (transform), looker, and Big Query
  • Work across a cross-functional team to integrate and create a suite of dashboards that will assist the company's sales
  • Communicate with different teams on a regular basis to solve data accessibility issues 
  • Build scalable, low latency, and highly performant data services
  • Brainstorm new ideas and implement improvements to the existing data

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Relevant experience building e-commerce solutions 
  • Ability to actively architect various solutions for complex problems
  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
