Data Analyst

The selected candidate will be working closely with the business teams to comprehend the needs of the business and then communicate those needs to the data team for fulfillment through data analysis and report generation. The company is developing an intuitive digital trading platform that enables investors to explore new markets, keep track of their investments, and seamlessly trade. Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product and Data teams to meet business needs in the areas of data science, AI, ML, data quality, data management, business intelligence, and reporting.
• Take the initiative to organize business units within the organization to gather and combine the necessary business-related data.
• Utilize data to analyze, assess, and pinpoint areas for improvement in the present business processes
• Establish specific business requirements, and work with the appropriate data team members to translate these into technological requirements
• Work together with the data steward to offer comments on any data quality concerns that arise and to provide assistance with implementing data quality measures
• Encourage meetings with the various departments to hear their suggestions on ways to use data to enhance growth, client satisfaction, and internal procedures and practices
• Work closely with business partners to establish the initiative pipeline and help prioritize; document and implement the lessons learned from the ongoing projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data analyst
• Demonstrable experience working with Power BI 
• Extensive knowledge and experience with SQL, Python, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Data Management related certification is desirable
• Nice to have Agile certification such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Comprehensive understanding of Finance concepts and the broker industry is desirable
• Prior experience taking ownership and driving workshops to elicit requirements
• Strong action-oriented and proactive tendencies 
• Foundational knowledge of data management topics
• Some expertise in developing and implementing cross-border/global requirements and procedures
• Excellent data quality and metadata management skills
• Fluent in conversational and written English communication
