Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is offering early-stage technology enterprises operational help and growth funding is looking for a Data Analyst. The developer will be in charge of building new products and microservices, enhancing current systems, and using data to guide business decisions. The company is on a mission to revolutionize MENA (Middle East and North Africa) through innovation and technology. This will be a long-term, full-time position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, arrange, and handle massive datasets from many sources
  • Create and keep up databases and data pipelines
  • To assist business decisions, conduct statistical analysis and produce and automate data visualizations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint data requirements and offer insights
  • Create and use data quality checks to ensure data accuracy
  • Maintaining and enhancing data systems and infrastructure
  • Build products and microservices in collaboration with the product teams
  • Create and manage business intelligence reports and dashboards, and produce insights and recommendations to guide company decisions
  • Keep abreast of market developments in the fields of engineering, data analysis, and product development

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data analyst, engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrable experience and skills in programming Python/R and JavaScript
  • Prolific SQL skills and extensive experience working on cloud platforms
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, and PowerBI
  • Tremendous skills in problem-solving and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
