Cloud Developer

As a developer, you will work on cloud-native applications that support user-facing applications, integrate with various systems, and enable data intelligence. Job Responsibilities:

• Take part in the continuous development of products managed by the team
• Develop new user stories, fix bugs, create and review pull requests
• Document your work (code comments, readme, confluence, etc.)
• Perform research, make suggestions for product improvements and communicate clearly on your progress
• Ensure the product meets all functional and non-functional requirements
• Produce clean, readable, and testable code on priority
• Apply sound software development principles to produce clean, readable, and testable code

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a cloud developer
• Solid grasp of common software engineering practices
• Expert skills in object-oriented principles, modern design patterns, test-driven development, etc.
• Proficient with continuous integration and deployment
• Keen to learn new things, share knowledge, adapt to change, and learn from past experiences
• Capable of working in a team with an open mind to receive feedback 
• Be conversant with the importance of application and data security with knowledge of the impact on the job 
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
• Excellent knowledge of Docker
• Prolific understanding of the Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services
• Familiarity with database technologies like Redis, MongoDB, and InfluxDB is a plus
• Demonstrable skills in messaging and broker systems (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, and Kafka) is a plus
• Foundational expertise in networking (IP, routing, IPSec, TCP) and other related services (DNS, firewall, DHCP)
• Outstanding skills working with Terraform, Go, and ElasticSearch is considered a bonus
