Job description

An industry-leading NYSE-listed company operating for more than a century is looking to hire a Blockchain Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and managing a distributed blockchain-based network. The company has established a reputation as a global pharmaceutical giant, active in 60+ countries, and well-known for revolutionizing medical science and the health-tech industry with next-gen technologies and research. This role presents a rare opportunity for the selected candidate to work with a well-established brand and contribute actively to the development and launch of a blockchain network.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop, and test blockchain technologies
  • Brainstorm and help evaluate applications for dynamic and upcoming tools and technologies 
  • Maintain and extend the latest software both on the client and server-side 
  • Analyze requirements and design blockchain technology around specific business models
  • Be involved in the global blockchain community
  • Implement and integrate the latest improvement and proposals
  • Document new solutions and maintain existing ones

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a blockchain developer
  • Strong software development background
  • Experience working with large codebases and open-source projects
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C++, Java, or JavaScript 
  • Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
  • Familiarity with basic cryptography and P2P networks
  • Firm grasp of bitcoin-like blockchains
  • Solid understanding of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code
