Job description

A fast-growing company building an innovative platform by leveraging the power of AI to make human-level language easily available to users across the globe, is looking for an AI Researcher. The selected candidate must be passionate about applied and theoretical research in the realm of computational linguistics. The company is determined to unlock Natural Language Processing for everyone through mature models trained to solve real-world use cases, available for developers as APIs. This will be a full-time role that requires a significant overlap with the European time zone.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver products that are fully functional, and provide a high-quality user experience
  • Rapidly scale features and improvements with minimal guidance
  • Design and build applications that are efficient, reusable, and reliable 
  • Collaborate with the team on larger projects
  • Analyze, maintain and enhance the performance of the application

Job Requirements:

  • Master degree or higher in Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics,/Electric engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with conducting NLP research
  • 2+ years of experience with Python
  • Extensive experience using Deep learning models and frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow, RNN, and Transformers
  • Solid understanding of linguistics’ theory and principles (semantic relations, parsing methods, etc.)
  • Strong theoretical background in Machine Learning
  • Nice to have some publication experience at top-tier conferences i.e., ACL, EMNLP, ICML, NeurIPS
  • Experience with distributed DL and Cloud ML-like GCP, AWS, etc. is desirable
  • An in-depth understanding of optimization, information theory, probability, and statistics is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Bayesian methods is desirable
