Job description

A U.S.-based company providing contract life scale management solutions to businesses is looking for an AI/ML Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with building AI and ML technologies related to legal contract management software. The company's advanced AI and analytics technology helps companies utilize the power of data in their contracts, thereby improving contract effectiveness. This will be a full-time role that requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Think through scalability & architecture to optimize the product
  • Work with the engineering team to maintain code quality assurance and perform code reviews
  • Help build a contract management system that can extract terms, clause provisions, recognize language patterns, and auto-redline in word documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an AI/ML engineer 
  • Deep experience in Java and NLP tools, including custom-named entity recognition, classification, and other related algorithms
  • Prior production roll-out experience
  • Some experience with full-stack development is nice to have
  • Ability to function effectively without much hand-holding and micromanagement
  • Excellent English communication and organizational skills
