Job responsibilities

  • Develop hybrid mobile applications with Ionic toolkit
  • Develop standard code with proper convention, formatting and comments
  • Perform third-party APIs plugin integrations in web and/or hybrid apps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs in the application and improve performance
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify problems uncovered and rectify them as needed
  • Keep abreast with new technologies and tools to maximize development efficiency
  • Work with the designers to ideate and conceptualize the application architecture

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of mobile/desktop app development experience using Ionic (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficient with Ionic, JavaScript (or TypeScript), HTML5, CSS, Cordova, and Firebase
  • Experience working with frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, etc.
  • Proven skills in UI/UX design and implementation
  • Working experience with REST, JSON, AJAX, API/Services, and jQuery
  • Fluency in English language for effective communication
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of responsive design principles
  • Experience in using Cordova to perform simulator testing for both Android & iOS apps
  • Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Git
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
