Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to build a rich user experience on the company’s system
  • Translate use cases into intuitive user experiences from end to end
  • Produce flows, wireframes, prototypes to test concepts

  • Analyze data and feedback to adjust the user experience
  • Assist with designing solutions for the project
  • Design high-quality UIs that deliver on qualitative and quantitative metrics
  • Work actively with product managers and engineers to solve problems at scale

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in product design and development using Figma(rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Proficiency with design tools including Figma, Sketch, and other prototyping tools

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
  • Expertise in integrating front-end features with back-end microservices
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design and layout
  • Strong knowledge of responsive and cross-platform designs
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Experience with debugging tools, like Chrome Inspector and Firebug
  • Knowledge of motion design, typography, illustrations, storytelling, and coding
  • Excellent knowledge of the Agile development process
