Job description

Job responsibilities

  • Assist automation engineers in improving cloud automation infrastructure and delivering efficient results
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify engineering defects in the code base and ensure code quality by constant improvement
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline configuration for provisioning and deployment orchestration of systems
  • Assist automation engineers in improving cloud automation infrastructure and delivering efficient results

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline configuration for provisioning and deployment orchestration of systems
  • Leverage cloud and other open source technologies
  • Monitor system health and reliability to support high uptime requirements
  • Maintain documentation utilizing enterprise standardized templates, white papers, design and engineering plans, etc.
  • Make sure to adhere to cloud automation standards, policies, and procedures

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a cloud automation engineer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Extensive experience working with AWS CDK, Cloud formation, Terraform, and Python

  • Extensive experience working with AWS CDK, Cloud formation, Terraform, and Python
  • Hands-on expertise in automating unit tests and implementing reusable and scalable code
  • Stronghold on cloud automation and development
  • Proficiency in using code deployment tools, like Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, and Chef
  • Demonstrable working experience with CI/CD pipeline on cloud management platforms
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Basic knowledge of IaC
  • Prior experience in API Integration and infrastructure tools, like Jfrog, Prisma, Security tools, ServiceNow, etc.
  • One or more AWS Cloud certifications is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of IaC
