Job description

A US-based company that provides an AI-powered translation assistant for effective communication is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing the front-end payments module using Stripe. The company has built a cross-language communication platform that caters to the language needs of freelancers and remote teams worldwide. This role requires a time overlap with the Eastern/Pacific time zones and will be a great opportunity for the selected candidate to work full-time and develop scalable products. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the front-end of the login and signup modules
  • Build the front-end of the onboarding module
  • Manage the Mixpanel tracking of user data
  • Take charge of editing the front-end interface per user feedback
  • Work on the Chrome extension that interfaces with multiple websites, including Gmail and WhatsApp
  • Collaborate actively with the ML and Product teams
  • Design and build efficient, intuitive front-end applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant front-end engineering experience 
  • Expertise in React.js, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and CI/CD
  • Have a knack for UI/UX design 
  • Good Spanish speaking skills is a plus
  • Experience building Chrome extension and ML products is nice to have
