Web Front-End Engineer

A fast-growing decentralized application company that aims at constructing a social finance application is looking for a Web Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building interactive front-end features that provide an engaging user experience. The company is committed to creating products and applications that facilitate the growth and usability of blockchain for every user. This position requires a significant overlap with the IST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Integrate front-end updates alongside the back-end development team
• Carefully handle and manage a standardized stylesheet and component libraries for use across the web application based on CSS, Ruby, and ReactJS
• Immerse yourself in front-end related design/code reviews, bug fixing, and QA sessions
• Ideate new modules via mockups and wireframes alongside the product team
• Optimize everything you touch, making things simpler, leaner, and faster
• Participate in brainstorming, design, and planning meetings

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
• Must have expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, React, and CSS
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite and Animation tools is required
• Expertise with Blockchain, Ruby, Google Cloud Platform, Graphic designing, and Bootstrap is nice to have
• Expert understanding of stylesheets is required
• Experience with React JS frameworks/libraries is nice to have
• The ability to translate requirements into accessible, responsive, cross-browser compatible, standards-based HTML and CSS
• Capable of adhering to the development and testing processes with high attention to detail
• An intuitive eye for visuals and comprehension of design concepts and principles
• The ability to work as part of an integrated, collaborative development team
