Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is building a collaboration space for individuals and organizations working in the purpose economy, is looking for a Web Front-end Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and mobile applications that will power the platform. The company is on a mission to bring together allies of all genders, ages, races, and nationalities to asynchronously connect, learn, organize and act on shared purposes. This role requires 4+ hours overlap with the EST time zone and will be a full-time, long-term engagement.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and product specialists
  • Collaborate with product teams and engineers to deliver exceptional product features
  • Solve scalability issues by optimizing the platform for faster execution
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and meet business targets

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with React.js, Redux, CSS, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Nice to have a working knowledge of GitHub, AWS, React Native, and Agile software development technologies
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies
  • Prior real-time messaging experience (Chat) and knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI is desirable
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
