Web Front-End Developer

A US-based company helping businesses to overcome their most pressing regulatory challenges is looking for a Web Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of designing, developing, and delivering a fully functional front-end web application. The company is developing a comprehensive platform to help businesses improve the effectiveness of their regulatory activities. It has managed to secure $40mn+ during their Series B round of funding. This will be a full-time, long-term position. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers, product managers, and engineers to collect requirements and design features
• Create user interfaces that are easy to use and navigate
• Drive the product from conception to deployment independently, with a strong emphasis on performance, quality, and security
• Work with Java engineers to connect user-facing elements to the back-end
• Provide production assistance, identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
• 5+ years of experience in UI development or in a related field
• Must have experience in React or Angular frameworks and libraries
• Must have knowledge of HTML and CSS in building large scale applications
• Capable of quickly learning and applying new technologies
• Passionate about building rich and innovative user experiences
• Knowledge of front-end designing is required
• Knowledge of building single-page applications is a must
• Familiarity with J2EE is nice to have
• Strong interaction and communication skills
