Job description

A fast-growing startup delivering the needs of passenger experience for autonomous vehicles through their unique software platform is looking for a Software Developer (React/Typescript). The developer will work closely with both the VP of Engineering, Streaming, and the product team and will play a key role in bringing ideas to life quickly and demonstrating their value. The U.S.-based company allows cars to include functionalities like access to movies, music, and gaming, among others, for an improved customer experience. The company has successfully raised close to $4 mn in funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Implement front-end applications to run on various automotive platforms
Take ownership of tested code, run, and optimize it in production
Support teammates and learn from code reviews
Write clean, scalable, and highly performant code
Define best practices and build the tech and team foundation for further scaling up
Scale the technical evolution of state-of-the-art front-end clients with a strong focus on performant code that runs even on low-end devices

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience in NodeJS, ReactJS, Typescript, and REST APIs
3 years of experience in NextJS, GraphQL, AWS DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway
Solid video streaming and automotive experience
Fluency in English language
