Job description

A fast-growing startup delivering the needs of passenger experience for autonomous vehicles through their unique software platform is looking for a Software Developer (React/Typescript). The developer will work closely with both the VP of Engineering, Streaming, and the product team and will play a key role in bringing ideas to life quickly and demonstrating their value. The U.S.-based company allows cars to include functionalities like access to movies, music, and gaming, among others, for an improved customer experience. The company has successfully raised close to $4 mn in funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement front-end applications to run on various automotive platforms
  • Take ownership of tested code, run, and optimize it in production
  • Support teammates and learn from code reviews 
  • Write clean, scalable, and highly performant code
  • Define best practices and build the tech and team foundation for further scaling up
  • Scale the technical evolution of state-of-the-art front-end clients with a strong focus on performant code that runs even on low-end devices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in NodeJS, ReactJS, Typescript, and REST APIs
  • 3 years of experience in NextJS, GraphQL, AWS DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway
  • Solid video streaming and automotive experience
  • Fluency in English language
